The COVID-19 pandemic continues to present challenges across every industry and household. At Pearl’s Monterey Senior Care LLC, we recognize that seniors are among the most vulnerable to illness and chronic health conditions. Providing care to this population comes with an added responsibility to maintain the highest safety standards.

We are proud to report no confirmed cases of COVID-19 among our caregiving team or clients at this time. With strict adherence to safety protocols, in-home care can help minimize exposure risks while also reducing the likelihood of unnecessary hospital visits.

As Monterey County remains in the Purple Tier, and in alignment with CDC guidelines, we have implemented the following precautions for all staff:

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Masks, gloves, and other protective gear are worn at all times during client visits.
  • Consistent Caregiver Assignments: Whenever possible, clients are cared for by the same staff member to reduce cross-contamination and outside exposure.
  • COVID-19 Response Protocols: CDC guidelines are followed if a client or staff member tests positive.
  • Transparent Communication: Clients and their families are informed of all COVID-19 protocols before care begins and whenever updates occur.
  • Symptom Reporting: Any staff member or client who becomes symptomatic triggers immediate reporting and safety measures.
  • Ongoing Education: Our team receives regular training on updated protocols, prevention strategies, and best practices for in-home care.

Pearl’s Monterey Senior Care LLC collaborates with federal, state, and local agencies, as well as other home health organizations, to stay at the forefront of safety standards and develop solutions for safe in-home caregiving.

Your loved one’s safety is our highest priority, and we remain committed to providing compassionate, secure, and uninterrupted care during these challenging times.
